Unlike other festivals, MUTEK is a movable community. Whether you’re one of our international headliners, a local talent from just up the street, a digital artist lighting up one of Montreal’s downtown buildings, or a fan from thousands of miles away, once you arrive at MUTEK you join a communal experience.
Above and beyond providing a reference point for the many activities planned over the 5 days of our 12th edition, the festival website regroups the most complete information possible for each featured artist featured. Mp3s, videos, links to articles and more have been assembled to help you preview those unfamiliar and intriguing names listed as part of this year’s lineup.
Musician & Label-Owner Quantazelle AKA Liz McLean Knight has made the reference public on her publicity photos. It’s based on the (now) most expensive photograph ever, Untitled #153. Check out the comparison and her artist statement here.
